📱 OnePlus 16 eSIM: Two eSIMs Plus Dual nano-SIM - Travel Setup Guide

📱 SIM Configuration: The Most Flexible Flagship of 2026

The OnePlus 16 ships with nano-SIM + nano-SIM + eSIM hardware - the global model runs up to two lines active at a time in any combination: two nano-SIMs, one nano-SIM + one eSIM, or two eSIMs. Few 2026 flagships keep two physical slots at all; combined with eSIM that makes the 16 the most flexible travel phone of the season. GSMArena-documented regional variants differ (some units ship without eSIM menus), so verify Add eSIM in Settings on your unit.

📱 Install a Travel eSIM on OnePlus 16 (OxygenOS)

On Wi-Fi: Settings > Wi-Fi & Network > SIM & Network > Add eSIM (search “eSIM” if your firmware nests it differently) > scan the QR code. Label the plan, then on arrival enable Data Roaming for the travel eSIM and set it as the mobile-data line. Home SIM keeps calls and verification codes.

📱 OnePlus 13 / 13R / 12 and Older

OnePlus 13, 13T, 13R, 12 and 11 support eSIM on global models; the OnePlus Open folds in the same support. Older units run nano-SIM + eSIM (one eSIM active); the 16’s two-active-eSIM capability is new to the line.

💡 เคล็ดลับด่วน

• The global launch is October 31, 2026 - pre-order or first-wave units should verify the eSIM menu exists on day one.
• Two nano-SIMs + eSIM means you can keep two home-country physical lines AND add travel data without removing anything.
• Region matters: some regional variants (notably China domestic) ship without eSIM - the Settings check is definitive.

⚡ เคล็ดลับจากมืออาชีพ

• OxygenOS sometimes buries the eSIM menu - Settings search for “eSIM” is faster than hunting menus.
• If the travel eSIM activates but data will not flow, confirm it is selected as the preferred mobile-data SIM, not just enabled.

📋 สรุป

OnePlus 16 is 2026’s most SIM-flexible flagship: two nano-SIMs plus up to two active eSIMs. Install a travel eSIM in OxygenOS before departure and keep your home lines untouched.
